I started animating because I wanted to portray science in an unorthodox and original way. In my series, I like to use music effects, visuals, and elaborate scenes to illustrate the excitement of science and the emotions of the characters as they explore the nuances of each topic. This video explores the effects of music therapy on opioid addiction by examining how both opioid and instrumental exposure affect white matter connectivity in our brains. Through a neuroscientific lens, this video offers a scientific proposal as to how music therapy could potentially (with more research) assist in improving white matter connectivity in the brains of opioid users.
